A patio full of cyclamens where the evenings are genuinely good, a little table with soft stools to sit and take your time, a corner with Nespresso, tea and biscuits always ready, an entrance that doesn't feel like a reception desk. And the house dog, if you'd like the company.

The story of this house

I designed it myself, room by room.

I designed this house myself, in honour of Maestro Puccini and my own family, room by room. Every single detail carries the love I have for what I do, and for beautiful things. You won't find a reception desk: I welcome you in person, because I want to get to know you — where you're coming from, what you need, how to make your stay easier. I stay available for your whole stay, for advice on where to eat, how to reach the airport at dawn, or a takeaway pizza if you get in late and hungry. If your flight lands late, or you leave the hospital late, no problem: you can still let yourself in, at any hour.

How far is it from the centre of Rome?

Seven minutes on foot to Battistini, the terminus of metro line A. From there the Vatican is nine minutes away and the historic centre about thirty, with no changes. The metro, unlike the buses, runs reliably.

How do I get here from Fiumicino airport?

About 28 minutes by car or taxi. Alternatively, the train to Termini and then metro A to the Battistini terminus.

Is there parking?

Yes. This is a residential area and street parking nearby is free.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, small ones, for a €12 nightly fee. They get a sanitised bed, a bowl and a small welcome gift.

What time is check-in?

In person, from 4pm, flexible hours: I welcome you myself. If you arrive later, even at night, entry is self check-in. Luggage can be left in the common area even before 4pm. Check-out by 11am, with an hour of flexibility when possible.

What is the neighbourhood like?

Aurelio-Boccea is a residential quarter away from the tourist routes: bars, bakeries, supermarkets, Eden Park five minutes away on foot. Guests describe it as quiet, authentic and well connected.

Is it better to book here or through a platform?

Here. Booking platforms keep a commission on every reservation: booking on this site removes that commission, and the nightly price is lower for the same room and the same services.

How do I get to the property?

From Roma Termini: metro A towards Battistini, the terminus, then a seven-minute walk. From Fiumicino: by car, by taxi, or with the SIT Bus Shuttle (€7 one way, €13 return, fares verified on the official site on 20 September 2026). From Roma San Pietro station: the simplest way is a short taxi ride.

Is breakfast included?

No. On arrival you'll find welcome water in the fridge, biscuits, tea and herbal teas, a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods, a kettle and a microwave.

Can I cook?

No, there's no kitchen set up for cooking meals. There's Nespresso, a kettle and a microwave for hot drinks and small snacks.
